Narrative:
While working 7 air carrier departures, maintenance technicians disconnected the cable providing mapper video to my scope. This was not known or coordinated at the time. Departures at phx airport were stopped until the problem was corrected 5 mins later. Approximately 10 mins after that incident, technicians caused the ARTS data to scatter causing loss of data blocks and handoff capability.

Title: RPTR STATES THAT MAINT TECHNICIAN PERFORMED MAINT ON THEIR EQUIP THAT DISRUPTED THEIR OP. NO COORD WAS DONE BEFOREHAND THAT THEY WERE GOING TO DO THIS.
Narrative: WHILE WORKING 7 ACR DEPS, MAINT TECHNICIANS DISCONNECTED THE CABLE PROVIDING MAPPER VIDEO TO MY SCOPE. THIS WAS NOT KNOWN OR COORDINATED AT THE TIME. DEPS AT PHX ARPT WERE STOPPED UNTIL THE PROB WAS CORRECTED 5 MINS LATER. APPROX 10 MINS AFTER THAT INCIDENT, TECHNICIANS CAUSED THE ARTS DATA TO SCATTER CAUSING LOSS OF DATA BLOCKS AND HDOF CAPABILITY.
