Narrative:
We were at FL270 descending to cross luke intersection at FL240 and comply with the crossing restr on the unarm arrival into clt airport. Upon crossing irq VOR, the leg to lukes intersection dropped out of the FMC. We proceeded to unarm intersection. Then we descended at a high rate to FL240. We also attempted to go back on course to lukes intersection. ZTL gave us a heading to reestablish our flight on the arrival.
