Narrative:

The last skydiver was exiting my aircraft. Simultaneously, pdx approach notified me of traffic east of the drop zone, wbound. I informed approach that I had jumpers away and was descending and looking for traffic. Immediately I spotted the seneca, just about to traverse my jump run, several thousand ft below. I immediately recognized the danger of a collision and broadcast my suggestion for an immediate turn. I am not sure whether the seneca pilot received my transmission. I heard portland approach information of the skydiving center ahead and in close range. At this point he seemed confused about his position, stating that he was well south of skydive, or. (And in fact was nearly directly above.) a few seconds later, he broadcast his realization of his mistake, stating that he was looking at, and referencing his position to, portland-mulino airport, thinking that it was skydive, or. (Portland-mulino airport is 4 mi north.) 1 jumper reported an estimated 200 ft distance to the seneca during his free-fall.
