Primary Problem | ATC Human Performance |
Narrative:
ATC gave a heading to ape VOR until receiving VOR then direct. After receiving VOR and tracking on specified radial, encountered a wind change which required a wind correction to maintain specified VOR radial we chose to track. It appeared controller could only see heading change on his screen, so immediately he corrected us while we made approximately 10 degree wind correction for specified VOR radial tracking. Lack of understanding of each other's tasks.
