Narrative:
Leading edge asymmetry. On approach to runway 10 sju, descending from 4000 ft, EICAS message displayed leading edge asymmetry and leading edges locked out at .5 degrees. Procedure initiated while approach continued. Missed approach initiated at 1000 ft due to flaps still being in transit to flaps 20 degrees. Procedure finished, returned to sju and landed.

Narrative: LEADING EDGE ASYMMETRY. ON APCH TO RWY 10 SJU, DSNDING FROM 4000 FT, EICAS MESSAGE DISPLAYED LEADING EDGE ASYMMETRY AND LEADING EDGES LOCKED OUT AT .5 DEGS.
