Narrative:
Flight X from den to dfw. Bowie 5 arrival landing north at hikay intersection turned south. Realized should have continued straight to siler intersection before turning south. Confused by all the boxes. Turn at hikay was for all aircraft (landing south) and propellers (landing north) missed propellers label initially.. 2 jet labels at siler and saw the one mentioning vectors and missed other 'jet' box stating speed. I know they have tried to make instructions clear, but last min approach instructions and changes as to runways in use make quick, accurate interpretation of the instructions difficult -- especially when 2 boxes located in separate locations were used.
