Narrative:
While flying the baset 1 arrival into lax, we were issued a clearance to descend and maintain 10000 ft, cross civet at 10000 ft, and cleared for the ILS runway 25L at fuelr. When we contacted the next controller, we were queried as to why we were not at 8000 ft as depicted on the chart. We informed him that we were given 10000 ft and cleared for the approach at fuelr. He asked 'weren't you given direct arnes?' we stated that we weren't and searched the baset 1 arrival for the fix. It was found on the civet 4 arrival which we were never given. We told him that we were never issued any other arrival than the one in our original clearance (baset 1). He came back and said that he would 'chastise' the guys about it. The ILS runway 25L chart depicts crossing fuelr at or above 8000 ft, so I don't think we violated any airspace.

Title: A WESTWIND FLC FLYING THE BASET 1 ARR WAS QUERIED AFTER HDOF IF THEY HAD BEEN GIVEN THE CIVET 4 TO LAX.
Narrative: WHILE FLYING THE BASET 1 ARR INTO LAX, WE WERE ISSUED A CLRNC TO DSND AND MAINTAIN 10000 FT, CROSS CIVET AT 10000 FT, AND CLRED FOR THE ILS RWY 25L AT FUELR. WHEN WE CONTACTED THE NEXT CTLR, WE WERE QUERIED AS TO WHY WE WERE NOT AT 8000 FT AS DEPICTED ON THE CHART. WE INFORMED HIM THAT WE WERE GIVEN 10000 FT AND CLRED FOR THE APCH AT FUELR. HE ASKED 'WEREN'T YOU GIVEN DIRECT ARNES?' WE STATED THAT WE WEREN'T AND SEARCHED THE BASET 1 ARR FOR THE FIX. IT WAS FOUND ON THE CIVET 4 ARR WHICH WE WERE NEVER GIVEN. WE TOLD HIM THAT WE WERE NEVER ISSUED ANY OTHER ARR THAN THE ONE IN OUR ORIGINAL CLRNC (BASET 1). HE CAME BACK AND SAID THAT HE WOULD 'CHASTISE' THE GUYS ABOUT IT. THE ILS RWY 25L CHART DEPICTS XING FUELR AT OR ABOVE 8000 FT, SO I DON'T THINK WE VIOLATED ANY AIRSPACE.
