Narrative:

Departing runway 33 at dtw runway heading to 3000 ft MSL, we were switched to departure control on 126.85 at XX41Z on oct/xa/99. We were given a heading of 150 degrees when traffic appeared on TCASII, very close proximity at near same altitude. Several rapid 'climb,' 'descend,' 'climb, climb,' 'descend' RA's were observed, and I rotated the aircraft to about 28 degrees nose up pitch and 45 degree bank to the right. At this point, I saw the aircraft rg under our nose, less than 200 ft. No incident was observed.
