Narrative:

During the after takeoff climb checklist, the first officer accidentally moved the gear handle from the up position past the off position to the partial down position. The landing gear started to extend. Gear indications were 2 red warning lights on the main gear, no indication on the nose gear. The gear handle was immediately moved back to the up position and the gear re-retracted. The incident happened at 300 KTS. The aircraft appeared to be normal once the gear was retracted. Maintenance was contacted and the decision was made to continue the flight to destination. The remainder of the flight was normal and log write-up was made. Supplemental information from acn 451028: recommend extra care be taken while moving gear handle to 'off' position -- especially above gear extension speed.
