Narrative:
Departed using noise abatement procedure. At 800 ft MSL and 25 degrees nose up, climbing about 6000 FPM, we got a TCASII RA indicating traffic 100 ft above us. The ivsi commanded an approximately 4000 FPM descent. We notified ATC and lowered the nose from 25 degrees to 15 degrees and reduced power to idle. At 500 ft MSL we still had the RA, but I was concerned about getting a GPWS pull up command, so I leveled the aircraft. The RA became a TA and finally a non threat target. We never received an audio clear of conflict report. We notified ATC that we were clear and resumed climb. No further incident. I explained to the very shaken passenger and crew what had happened and told them all was well. Everyone seemed fine. We continued to dfw. I imagine we set off every noise monitor around.
