Narrative:
After passing columbia, mo, VOR, we missed our turn to the next fix of danville, va. Center requested a left turn of 30 degrees, of which we immediately complied. After about 30 seconds, we were directed to turn another 30 degrees left. After about 30-45 seconds, we were cleared on course. The turn was missed because we had an additional fix programmed into the FMS by mistake. Supplemental information from acn 452476: after copying our clearance, which was 'as filed' after the charted departure, we failed to verify the loaded FMS flight plan against which was filed.
