Narrative:
I was the first officer and PF on the flight. While off of #1 (ATC) radio (I was making PA announcement), the captain was issued heading to intercept the darbs one arrival into tpa. Upon returning to communication #1, I was told we were on a heading and were subsequently issued a further 10 degrees left. At no point was I aware this was a heading to intercept the arrival. The captain mistakenly dialed in the wrong radial and we were alerted by ATC that we had flown through the course once well past it. There were no traffic conflicts and the WX was VMC. I suppose better situational awareness and knowledge of our arrs into tpa would have prompted me to ask the captain if this was a heading for the intercept. When I announced I was 'back on one' I should have been informed the heading was to intercept.

Title: A BOEING 737 FLC FLEW THROUGH THE DARBS ONE ARR TO TPA.
Narrative: I WAS THE FO AND PF ON THE FLT. WHILE OFF OF #1 (ATC) RADIO (I WAS MAKING PA ANNOUNCEMENT), THE CAPT WAS ISSUED HEADING TO INTERCEPT THE DARBS ONE ARR INTO TPA. UPON RETURNING TO COM #1, I WAS TOLD WE WERE ON A HEADING AND WERE SUBSEQUENTLY ISSUED A FURTHER 10 DEGS L. AT NO POINT WAS I AWARE THIS WAS A HEADING TO INTERCEPT THE ARR. THE CAPT MISTAKENLY DIALED IN THE WRONG RADIAL AND WE WERE ALERTED BY ATC THAT WE HAD FLOWN THROUGH THE COURSE ONCE WELL PAST IT. THERE WERE NO TFC CONFLICTS AND THE WX WAS VMC. I SUPPOSE BETTER SITUATIONAL AWARENESS AND KNOWLEDGE OF OUR ARRS INTO TPA WOULD HAVE PROMPTED ME TO ASK THE CAPT IF THIS WAS A HEADING FOR THE INTERCEPT. WHEN I ANNOUNCED I WAS 'BACK ON ONE' I SHOULD HAVE BEEN INFORMED THE HEADING WAS TO INTERCEPT.
