Narrative:
Performed maintenance to the nose landing gear steering system. A door pin was installed that did not have a 'remove before flight' flag attached. Maintenance was completed. Aircraft went to the gate with pin still installed. Flight crew notified line maintenance personnel, who removed the door pin. The flight for aircraft xyz was delayed 15 mins. Action should be to insure that all door pins are removed before leaving the hangar and the aircraft put back into service.
