Narrative:
It was the first officer's leg. We were on the lzard 1 arrival landing runway 36. Somehow we both expected vectors for the approach at tumpy. Can only say we misread the STAR. Approach controller corrected our error and confirmed with us that we were assigned the arrival. No conflicts were noted visually or on TCASII. We were following black lines instead of reading the fine print.
