Narrative:
Instructions were taxi taxiway P, taxiway J, hold short runway 15 at taxiway J. I began taxi out in heavy rain on taxiway P, made left turn to (what I thought was taxiway K) actually taxiway J, noticed taxi lights on small island at south finger out (hazard). This distraction me. I thought I was on taxiway K but was actually on taxiway J. I began a right turn and was stopped by my first officer's saying stop runway 19. I at that same moment saw the red sign on the left and also heard ground say stop. There was an aircraft taking off on runway 19. We stopped well before the hold line with no incursion.
