Narrative:
Tire tread separated from tire, damaging right inboard wing flap, top of right wing and tire spray deflector. Damage was discovered at completion of flight from dfw to atl. No unusual flight characteristics noted. No reports of FOD from any ATC. No indication of noises from cabin. Tire did not deflate. It is not known whether damage occurred on takeoff or landing roll. Takeoff, touchdown, and landing rollout were all normal.

Title: A MEDIUM LARGE TRANSPORT 2 TURBOJET ENG, AFTER PARKING AT GATE IT WAS DISCOVERED TO HAVE INCURRED DAMAGE FROM A R MAIN GEAR TIRE THROWN TREAD.
Narrative: TIRE TREAD SEPARATED FROM TIRE, DAMAGING R INBOARD WING FLAP, TOP OF R WING AND TIRE SPRAY DEFLECTOR. DAMAGE WAS DISCOVERED AT COMPLETION OF FLT FROM DFW TO ATL. NO UNUSUAL FLT CHARACTERISTICS NOTED. NO RPTS OF FOD FROM ANY ATC. NO INDICATION OF NOISES FROM CABIN. TIRE DID NOT DEFLATE. IT IS NOT KNOWN WHETHER DAMAGE OCCURRED ON TKOF OR LNDG ROLL. TKOF, TOUCHDOWN, AND LNDG ROLLOUT WERE ALL NORMAL.
