Narrative:
The situation is that a B737 main wheel assembly had a bearing failure. The problem has been determined to be that an incorrect inner bearing was installed. The proper bearing for a B737 inner is a #xyz. The bearing found with the wheel was a #XXX. The 2 bearings are very similar in size, weight and dimension. I believe what caused this was that the wrong bearing was grabbed during the wheel's buildup.

Title: A B737-300 WAS DISPATCHED IN NON COMPLIANCE WITH AN INCORRECT MAIN GEAR WHEEL INNER BEARING INSTALLED RESULTING IN BEARING FAILURE.
Narrative: THE SIT IS THAT A B737 MAIN WHEEL ASSEMBLY HAD A BEARING FAILURE. THE PROB HAS BEEN DETERMINED TO BE THAT AN INCORRECT INNER BEARING WAS INSTALLED. THE PROPER BEARING FOR A B737 INNER IS A #XYZ. THE BEARING FOUND WITH THE WHEEL WAS A #XXX. THE 2 BEARINGS ARE VERY SIMILAR IN SIZE, WT AND DIMENSION. I BELIEVE WHAT CAUSED THIS WAS THAT THE WRONG BEARING WAS GRABBED DURING THE WHEEL'S BUILDUP.
