Narrative:
Was at FL330, asked how long it would take to get to FL370. Captain replied 3 mins. Took us approximately 4 1/2 mins to get to FL370. Controller was not happy. We took a vector and also another aircraft took vectors. We should have advised immediately when we realized we were not going to make it in 3 mins. We made FL360 in approximately 3 mins. Flight attendants came up to cockpit just after we started the climb. This caused some distraction.
