Narrative:
Had minor caution message into home base. Completed company and aircraft procedures with no problems. Captain wrote up discrepancy and consulted maintenance. The message cleared itself and it was considered a computer glitch. I asked the captain about the write-up because it has to be cleared by maintenance. He said he would 'void -- entered in error,' and because it was not a safety issue, I agreed. Prior to pushback, I asked if it had been voided and taken care of. He told me it was all taken care of. I did not actually ask to see the write-up but should have. When I got to destination the next crew asked why there was an open write-up. It delayed the next flight because the captain I was with had to finish his voiding. He forgot to void it before flight.
