Narrative:
While transitioning to the lax pdz 2 STAR, citation (reporter's aircraft) received an RA on TCASII with an A310 airbus. The airbus was on the pdz 2 arrival also, but to the parallel runway. The reporter's aircraft X overshot the ILS localizer because the crew was asked by ATC to report the airbus in sight.

Title: CITATION FLC RECEIVED A TCASII RA WITH AN A310 WHEN THEY OVERSHOT THE ILS LOC INBOUND TO LAX.
Narrative: WHILE TRANSITIONING TO THE LAX PDZ 2 STAR, CITATION (RPTR'S ACFT) RECEIVED AN RA ON TCASII WITH AN A310 AIRBUS. THE AIRBUS WAS ON THE PDZ 2 ARR ALSO, BUT TO THE PARALLEL RWY. THE RPTR'S ACFT X OVERSHOT THE ILS LOC BECAUSE THE CREW WAS ASKED BY ATC TO RPT THE AIRBUS IN SIGHT.
