Narrative:
We all know how dangerous ground operations can be at busy tower controled airports (lgb!). I've noticed that upon landing, rollout and leaving the runway, I consistently miss the intersection sign. My focus is on aircraft control. I'm very careful to stop past the hold short lines and then contact ground. The problem is I look over my shoulder or out the side windows to see the back side of the illuminated signs which are blank! I feel obligated to tell ground my exact position. However, the back side of these is blank, as I mentioned. I know I should note the intersection as I exit the runway, but I don't. I think it would be better if both sides of these signs had the markings. Maybe I'm crazy.
