Narrative:
On jan/xa/00 I was working the l-hand pylon on aircraft xyz. I mistook an inspector write-up and inadvertently signed it off. Later that night after counseling with a quality assurance inspector, I better understood the discrepancy and followed appropriate procedure to repair them.

Title: A B767-300 UNDERGOING L PYLON WORK HAD AN INSPECTOR'S WRITE-UP ON THE HIGH PRESSURE PNEUMATIC SHUTOFF VALVE INADVERTENTLY CLRED.
Narrative: ON JAN/XA/00 I WAS WORKING THE L-HAND PYLON ON ACFT XYZ. I MISTOOK AN INSPECTOR WRITE-UP AND INADVERTENTLY SIGNED IT OFF. LATER THAT NIGHT AFTER COUNSELING WITH A QUALITY ASSURANCE INSPECTOR, I BETTER UNDERSTOOD THE DISCREPANCY AND FOLLOWED APPROPRIATE PROC TO REPAIR THEM.
