Narrative:
Flight attendant #4 moved the cart (trash pickup) back, to allow another passenger to go to the lavatory. As flight attendant #4 moved the cart forward a few inches and passenger in row X knee was sticking out and the cart knocked it. He became very angry. Flight attendant apologized. He held the cart with his elbow and would not allow us to continue and passenger wanted to see the first officer, because he was injured. His behavior was not within the limits of a normal response. The flight attendant went to get another flight attendant to intercede. He accused her of sweeping the incident under the rug, sweet talking him and said flight attendant #4 had assaulted him. He also said his brother-in-law was a pilot and he knew the first officer was in charge of the aircraft. He said his knee was shattered. He also said his father had died the day before. Observations: he was probably upset about his father passing (which we did not know at first), and when given an excuse to express some frustration and anger he did -- though in a verbal manner, for his demeanor was staring you in the eye with such anger and hate, he was almost shaking. We had paramedics and police meet flight, passenger refused any medical attention. He was in a hurry. We had 2 witnesses to the event. One of which wrote a statement that passenger stuck his knee out on purpose. When the first officer talked to him on the ground, the passenger said he thought his knee was only bruised. With planes being fuller, it has become almost impossible to even walk down the aisle without having to turn and twist to dodge hitting people with our bodies and tripping over feet. Passenger take no responsibility for their bodies being in the aisle and constantly blame us for knocking them. We're just trying to work and walk down the aisle.

Title: CABIN ATTENDANT RPT, MD80, DFW-TUS. CABIN ATTENDANT SLIGHTLY HIT PAX LEG WITH CART. PAX WAS OUT OF CTL IN HIS ANGER AND PARANOIA. POLICE, PARAMEDICS MET FLT. PAX REFUSED HELP.
Narrative: FLT ATTENDANT #4 MOVED THE CART (TRASH PICKUP) BACK, TO ALLOW ANOTHER PAX TO GO TO THE LAVATORY. AS FLT ATTENDANT #4 MOVED THE CART FORWARD A FEW INCHES AND PAX IN ROW X KNEE WAS STICKING OUT AND THE CART KNOCKED IT. HE BECAME VERY ANGRY. FLT ATTENDANT APOLOGIZED. HE HELD THE CART WITH HIS ELBOW AND WOULD NOT ALLOW US TO CONTINUE AND PAX WANTED TO SEE THE FO, BECAUSE HE WAS INJURED. HIS BEHAVIOR WAS NOT WITHIN THE LIMITS OF A NORMAL RESPONSE. THE FLT ATTENDANT WENT TO GET ANOTHER FLT ATTENDANT TO INTERCEDE. HE ACCUSED HER OF SWEEPING THE INCIDENT UNDER THE RUG, SWEET TALKING HIM AND SAID FLT ATTENDANT #4 HAD ASSAULTED HIM. HE ALSO SAID HIS BROTHER-IN-LAW WAS A PLT AND HE KNEW THE FO WAS IN CHARGE OF THE ACFT. WE HAD PARAMEDICS AND POLICE MEET FLT, PAX REFUSED ANY MEDICAL ATTN. HE WAS IN A HURRY. WE HAD 2 WITNESSES TO THE EVENT. ONE OF WHICH WROTE A STATEMENT THAT PAX STUCK HIS KNEE OUT ON PURPOSE. WHEN THE FO TALKED TO HIM ON THE GND, THE PAX SAID HE THOUGHT HIS KNEE WAS ONLY BRUISED. WITH PLANES BEING FULLER, IT HAS BECOME ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO EVEN WALK DOWN THE AISLE WITHOUT HAVING TO TURN AND TWIST TO DODGE HITTING PEOPLE WITH OUR BODIES AND TRIPPING OVER FEET. PAX TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR BODIES BEING IN THE AISLE AND CONSTANTLY BLAME US FOR KNOCKING THEM. WE'RE JUST TRYING TO WORK AND WALK DOWN THE AISLE.
