Narrative:
I punched in at XA30. At XT00 I was instructed to taxi aircraft xyz to the gate. Mechanic wzzz was assigned to ride radio seat. Crew chief ywwy and mechanic xzxx gave the clear to start engine signal. After engine start I noticed that crew chief ywwy was no longer in front with xzxx. At that time I believed that ywwy went to wing walk the left wing. Xzxx gave the clear to taxi signal and I proceeded forward on his command. Xzxx then signaled for me to turn right which I did. It was at that time I asked wzzz to look out and watch the right wingtip. He stated that it was getting close. I could not see my left wingtip anymore and became uneasy with the situation. I looked back forward to xzxx and he was still signaling me to turn right. I was not comfortable with the situation and I stopped the aircraft at that time. At that time xzxx approached the aircraft and I asked him how close we were to the B737 on my left (aircraft XXX) and he then stated he believed that we hit the wingtip.
