Narrative:
Very low visibility and fog. Controller asked us to report turning onto taxiway a. Keep in mind we were cleared all the way to the runway (taxi to runway 7 via taxiway J and taxiway a). We simply forgot to tell the controller. We were busy making sure we were going on the right taxiway. The fog made it very distracting. We were also doing our before takeoff checklist. The controller wanted this report because he couldn't see us. Next time I will put a reminder in front of me and keep it in front of me until I make the required call. There was no conflict or incident that occurred as a result of this incident. We taxied and took off without incident.
