Narrative:
While en route from wilmington, nc, to fort myers, fl, I lost contact with ZJX who was with me on flight following under a VFR flight plan. I had projected that my route of flight would carry me over the ocean and I would reach landfall north of daytona beach. During my flight I lost contact with jax and after calling and calling, I called gainesville FSS to find out if I could get another frequency to reach jax on. I was given 2 frequencys and tried both many times to no avail. I called gainesville again and was given another frequency and tried that one, again I made many tries, without success. At the time I was at 10500 ft MSL and above a broken to overcast ceiling. Finally, after many attempts I reached ZJX or approach and my flight continued. I reached land far south of daytona beach, and may have broken into cape canaveral restr area, despite the fact that I was on jax approach, and was not told where I was. There was a broken to overcast ceiling just offshore as I approached land and I could not see where I was. I was handed over to ZMA who told me to call orlando approach and that they wanted to speak to me. When I did, orlando said they had nothing to say. I believe I inadvertently overflew cape canaveral at 10500 ft VFR on top.

Title: A C337 PVT PLT ENTERS THE R-2934 RESTR AREA OF MERRIT ISLE, COF, WITHOUT CLRNC WHILE ON APCH CTL FREQ WITH JAX, FL.
Narrative: WHILE ENRTE FROM WILMINGTON, NC, TO FORT MYERS, FL, I LOST CONTACT WITH ZJX WHO WAS WITH ME ON FLT FOLLOWING UNDER A VFR FLT PLAN. I HAD PROJECTED THAT MY RTE OF FLT WOULD CARRY ME OVER THE OCEAN AND I WOULD REACH LANDFALL N OF DAYTONA BEACH. DURING MY FLT I LOST CONTACT WITH JAX AND AFTER CALLING AND CALLING, I CALLED GAINESVILLE FSS TO FIND OUT IF I COULD GET ANOTHER FREQ TO REACH JAX ON. I WAS GIVEN 2 FREQS AND TRIED BOTH MANY TIMES TO NO AVAIL. I CALLED GAINESVILLE AGAIN AND WAS GIVEN ANOTHER FREQ AND TRIED THAT ONE, AGAIN I MADE MANY TRIES, WITHOUT SUCCESS. AT THE TIME I WAS AT 10500 FT MSL AND ABOVE A BROKEN TO OVCST CEILING. FINALLY, AFTER MANY ATTEMPTS I REACHED ZJX OR APCH AND MY FLT CONTINUED. I REACHED LAND FAR S OF DAYTONA BEACH, AND MAY HAVE BROKEN INTO CAPE CANAVERAL RESTR AREA, DESPITE THE FACT THAT I WAS ON JAX APCH, AND WAS NOT TOLD WHERE I WAS. THERE WAS A BROKEN TO OVCST CEILING JUST OFFSHORE AS I APCHED LAND AND I COULD NOT SEE WHERE I WAS. I WAS HANDED OVER TO ZMA WHO TOLD ME TO CALL ORLANDO APCH AND THAT THEY WANTED TO SPEAK TO ME. WHEN I DID, ORLANDO SAID THEY HAD NOTHING TO SAY. I BELIEVE I INADVERTENTLY OVERFLEW CAPE CANAVERAL AT 10500 FT VFR ON TOP.
