Narrative:
On arrival phase of flight from cpr, landing in den, we were told to expect landing runway information as we got closer to the airport. Within the last 2 mins of flight, approach control told us to expect vectors for landing on runway 26, then runway 35R, and finally on runway 35L. After rushing to set up the cockpit radios and instruments we made an uneventful landing at dia. After landing and clearing the runway we realized that we were still on the approach frequency, and had not been cleared to land. After finally contacting tower, they said contact ground control and taxi to your gate. To eliminate this from happening again, I will be using the system of checks and balances to make sure we have completed everything that we need to do on the flight deck, and I also will be more aware of the radio xmissions that I am listening to.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: D328 CREW LANDED WITHOUT CLRNC.
Narrative: ON ARR PHASE OF FLT FROM CPR, LNDG IN DEN, WE WERE TOLD TO EXPECT LNDG RWY INFO AS WE GOT CLOSER TO THE ARPT. WITHIN THE LAST 2 MINS OF FLT, APCH CTL TOLD US TO EXPECT VECTORS FOR LNDG ON RWY 26, THEN RWY 35R, AND FINALLY ON RWY 35L. AFTER RUSHING TO SET UP THE COCKPIT RADIOS AND INSTS WE MADE AN UNEVENTFUL LNDG AT DIA. AFTER LNDG AND CLRING THE RWY WE REALIZED THAT WE WERE STILL ON THE APCH FREQ, AND HAD NOT BEEN CLRED TO LAND. AFTER FINALLY CONTACTING TWR, THEY SAID CONTACT GND CTL AND TAXI TO YOUR GATE. TO ELIMINATE THIS FROM HAPPENING AGAIN, I WILL BE USING THE SYS OF CHKS AND BALS TO MAKE SURE WE HAVE COMPLETED EVERYTHING THAT WE NEED TO DO ON THE FLT DECK, AND I ALSO WILL BE MORE AWARE OF THE RADIO XMISSIONS THAT I AM LISTENING TO.
