Narrative:
On sfo quiet 2 departure, captain turned to 030 degree heading to intercept sfo 342 degree radial. As I was managing some PNF duties, I failed initially to notice he had flown through the radial. When I noticed we were approximately 1-2 mi right of course. As we were correcting, departure asked to verify we were intercepting the course. Lesson: monitor the SID closely, no matter what.
