Narrative:
On mar/tue/00, I received clearance to leave ohio state osu to zeeland Z98 VFR at 2000 ft MSL flight stayed within legal limits until the WX deteriorated within 6 mi of my destination point of zeeland Z98. At that time I was in radio contact with grand rapids approach. I told them of the conditions and needed to turn around. Grand rapids approach asked which field I wanted to land at grand rapids or wayland. Because I checked grand rapids ATIS and the ceiling and visibility was better at grand rapids, I chose grand rapids. Grand rapids approach was very helpful on giving me a few vectors in. I learned a great lesson, that WX can deteriorate very quickly and you should turn around as soon as it does and don't hesitate.
