Narrative:
Aircraft returned to gate for maintenance inspection after receiving company radio call. Company ground personnel spotted evidence of lightning strike on top of fuselage while aircraft pushed back from gate. Aircraft was taken OTS. It is unknown when and where aircraft experienced a lightning strike. Crew flying did not encounter conditions where a lightning strike would occur.

Title: FLC OF AN MLG RETURNED TO THE GATE AFTER COMPANY ADVISED THAT GND PERSONNEL NOTICED LIGHTNING STRIKE TO TOP OF THE FUSELAGE DURING PUSHBACK RESULTING IN THE ACFT TAKEN OTS.
Narrative: ACFT RETURNED TO GATE FOR MAINT INSPECTION AFTER RECEIVING COMPANY RADIO CALL. CGP SPOTTED EVIDENCE OF LIGHTNING STRIKE ON TOP OF FUSELAGE WHILE ACFT PUSHED BACK FROM GATE. ACFT WAS TAKEN OTS. IT IS UNKNOWN WHEN AND WHERE ACFT EXPERIENCED A LIGHTNING STRIKE. CREW FLYING DID NOT ENCOUNTER CONDITIONS WHERE A LIGHTNING STRIKE WOULD OCCUR.
