Narrative:
During rollout (at approximately taxi speed) after landing on runway 22 at lga, we saw a man walking out onto the runway nwbound about 2000 ft ahead of us. He looked at us and turned back to the southeast edge of the runway. As we turned off at taxiway C, the man turned around and again began crossing the runway nwbound at approximately the 1000 ft stripe of the runway 22 departure end. We alerted the tower. Captain phoned the tower (at their request) upon arrival at the gate. He was advised that the man had been apprehended.
