Narrative:
Fumes reported in cabin immediately after takeoff -- rubber burning smell. We donned oxygen masks, declared emergency, and returned for landing in atl. From takeoff to touchdown was 11 mins. Taxied off runway and returned to gate without further incident. No damage to aircraft or passenger evident. Left for maintenance to assess problem.

Narrative: FUMES RPTED IN CABIN IMMEDIATELY AFTER TKOF -- RUBBER BURNING SMELL. WE DONNED OXYGEN MASKS, DECLARED EMER, AND RETURNED FOR LNDG IN ATL. FROM TKOF TO TOUCHDOWN WAS 11 MINS. TAXIED OFF RWY AND RETURNED TO GATE WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. NO DAMAGE TO ACFT OR PAX EVIDENT. LEFT FOR MAINT TO ASSESS PROB.
