Narrative:
We were coming up on bacus intersection on R763 and tried to make a position report, but could not get through. Made the report on HF through ZNY. Around dribl intersection there was solid line of severe thunderstorms to the east and west. We asked for and received clearance to deviate 70 mi east of course. The WX kept building and then we asked for and received clearance to join A554 to lamer and then on course. No conflicts occurred and the rerte kept us out of the WX.
