Narrative:
After completing a month of abnormally heavy flying, I was advised by our director of operations that I had flown over 100 hours in the 30 day period between mar/xa/00 and apr/xa/00. My log records showed only 98 hours 53 mins. After comparing dates and times with company data, it was discovered that I had done a tail end ferry flight -- part 91 -- of a 3 hour duration, that was not known by me to be relevant to the 100/30 day rule (121 supplemental). The company's scheduling system, which normally flags high time pilots, also failed to indicate a potential problem. Far's being ambiguous and difficult to interpretation don't help the situation much either far's part 121 supplemental. My company is self disclosing this error to protect themselves from violation. I guess I'm screwed.

Title: AN A320 PIC IS CALLED BY COMPANY WHEN HE HAS EXCEEDED THE 100 HRS IN A 30 DAY PERIOD. PLT HAD FORGOTTEN TO INCLUDE A 3 HR PART 91 FERRY FLT AS PART OF HIS TIME. ZZZ, US.
Narrative: AFTER COMPLETING A MONTH OF ABNORMALLY HVY FLYING, I WAS ADVISED BY OUR DIRECTOR OF OPS THAT I HAD FLOWN OVER 100 HRS IN THE 30 DAY PERIOD BTWN MAR/XA/00 AND APR/XA/00. MY LOG RECORDS SHOWED ONLY 98 HRS 53 MINS. AFTER COMPARING DATES AND TIMES WITH COMPANY DATA, IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT I HAD DONE A TAIL END FERRY FLT -- PART 91 -- OF A 3 HR DURATION, THAT WAS NOT KNOWN BY ME TO BE RELEVANT TO THE 100/30 DAY RULE (121 SUPPLEMENTAL). THE COMPANY'S SCHEDULING SYS, WHICH NORMALLY FLAGS HIGH TIME PLTS, ALSO FAILED TO INDICATE A POTENTIAL PROB. FAR'S BEING AMBIGUOUS AND DIFFICULT TO INTERP DON'T HELP THE SIT MUCH EITHER FAR'S PART 121 SUPPLEMENTAL. MY COMPANY IS SELF DISCLOSING THIS ERROR TO PROTECT THEMSELVES FROM VIOLATION. I GUESS I'M SCREWED.
