Narrative:
I have been flying out of phl for about 2 weeks. It was my first time taxiing to runway 9L. It was very light rain at the time. My taxi instructions were to taxi to runway 9L via taxiway east, taxiway K, hold short at taxiway K3. When I turned on taxiway K, I was looking for taxiway K3 to hold short of and made a mistake and took a taxiway that led onto the runway. To prevent a recurrence: do not taxi without requesting further instructions or requesting progressive taxi if you become unsure of your position.
