Captain was flying olm 2 arrival to seattle. Misread the crossing restr at olm. Instead of 16000 ft for aircraft landing south, read 12000 ft (only for aircraft landing north). First officer caught the error at approximately 15000 ft. Notified ZSE immediately. Center mentioned that there were no traffic conflicts, and approved descent to 12000 ft. Aircraft was advised to switch to approach. No further comment.
