Narrative:
The brake would not release on the meal cart. I had to drag it out to begin the service. My fingers went numb on my right hand. I have lost use of my hand due to possible carpal tunnel syndrome. Defective carts should never be used.

Title: CABIN ATTENDANT RPT, S80, DFW-LAS. AT START OF MEAL SVC, CABIN ATTENDANT INJURED HAND BY PULLING ON DEFECTIVE CART (BRAKES). MAY HAVE DEVELOPED CARPAL-TUNNEL SYNDROME.
