Narrative:

We were cleared to enter right downwind for runway 16L at reno, nv. About on the 45 degree entry, we lost our right generator and had high itt temperatures. Started troubleshooting and had a 6 yr old boy in the cabin that was very sick. We found we could not reset generator. We reduced loads and turned off air conditioning. Tower asked us to call a B737 on final to runway 16R. We were then warned about wake turbulence and cleared to land. At this point we just followed the B737 and landed on runway 16R. No separation was lost but we landed on the wrong runway. I contribute this incident to 4 things: 1) feeling bad due to an allergy attack about 10 mins earlier. 2) a major distraction in the cabin. 3) a call to verify traffic to runway 16R. 4) a call from tower to warn about wake turbulence from traffic to runway 16R.
