Narrative:
Upon approach to bwi we were cleared for the visual approach to runway 33L. Both the captain and the first officer misidented runway 28 as runway 33L. After the aircraft crossed both the approach path to runway 33L&right, the flight crew recognized their error which was also pointed out by ATC. The flight was then cleared to land on runway 28.

Title: JS31 CREW MADE A VISUAL APCH TO RWY 28 IN BWI WHEN CLRED FOR RWY 33L.
Narrative: UPON APCH TO BWI WE WERE CLRED FOR THE VISUAL APCH TO RWY 33L. BOTH THE CAPT AND THE FO MISIDENTED RWY 28 AS RWY 33L. AFTER THE ACFT CROSSED BOTH THE APCH PATH TO RWY 33L&R, THE FLC RECOGNIZED THEIR ERROR WHICH WAS ALSO POINTED OUT BY ATC. THE FLT WAS THEN CLRED TO LAND ON RWY 28.
