Narrative:
While climbing from departure at big spring, tx, exceeded assigned altitude of 7000 ft and climbed to 7500 ft. Distraction while assisting ZFW in identing ground reference point. WX was clear with excellent visibility and there were no conflicts. Stopped climb and quickly descended to assigned altitude when prompted by ZFW. Center did a great job in catching climb.

Narrative: WHILE CLBING FROM DEP AT BIG SPRING, TX, EXCEEDED ASSIGNED ALT OF 7000 FT AND CLBED TO 7500 FT. DISTR WHILE ASSISTING ZFW IN IDENTING GND REF POINT. WX WAS CLR WITH EXCELLENT VISIBILITY AND THERE WERE NO CONFLICTS. STOPPED CLB AND QUICKLY DSNDED TO ASSIGNED ALT WHEN PROMPTED BY ZFW. CTR DID A GREAT JOB IN CATCHING CLB.
