Narrative:
I was giving a person I met at airport a ride in my plane. I gave control to him while over lake mead national recreation area. He banked and descended below the minimum 2000 ft required above area. I resumed control and we climbed back to a legal altitude. I learned to be more careful when giving rides, and not assume every pilot is a careful one.
