Narrative:
I was the captain on a flight from phx to den. The flight was full. We had a jump seat from another airline. The jump seater was asking question on final approach, the tower didn't hear our acknowledgment of a clearance to land. It is so important to advise jump seater of the sterile cockpit rule below 10000 ft.
