Narrative:
The flight school that I am employed by is a satellite from the main office which is located at another airport. Logs of maintenance and inspections are kept at the other airport and a computer system is used to keep instructors notified of upcoming inspections at our office. Management/maintenance failed to update computer and the 100 hour maintenance was unknowingly exceeded. The plane was immediately grounded for maintenance when error was detected.
