Narrative:
WX reports were to be light ground winds, I had a high wind landing at XA55 with GPS reading of 30 mph. I had watched other balloons below and looked like they were moving fast, so came down to about 4 ft off the ground and looked for a clear spot to land, about 2 mi of 4-6 ft off the ground. Found a spot of about 500 yards and no rocks, turned off pilot lights and burners, pulled the top, and had a soft touchdown but wind was strong (30 mph) and before balloon laid down flat, drug 134 yards, in approximately 15 seconds. After everything was flat on the ground I noticed a small flame in the wisper burner, reached to put it out and puff, a flash fire. Made sure all tanks were off, garbed the fire extinguisher and put out small fire under skirt of envelope, no injuries.
