Narrative:
During preflight preparation procedures, after short notice aircraft change which involved deplaning all passenger at departure time while performing aircraft inspection and acceptance procedures for second aircraft assignment and during hasty passenger reboarding, experienced a visit in the cockpit from the base chief pilot which tended to interfere with performance of flight crew duties as we were subjected to questioning pertaining to the previous aircraft and its maintenance discrepancy which resulted in the aircraft change. Regretfully, my company encourages limits on flight crew preflight inspections such as: never checking engine and gear box chip detector indications (readily accessible on ground), under emphasizing inspection of power lever flight idle stop solenoid circuit breakers by allowing the inspection window to become unusable due to scarring and paint overspray, discouraging the squawking of oil-fouled APU bleed air even though it's so bad the lavatory smoke detector alarms, and even authorizing a flight to take off with a cockpit door air conditioning blowout shear plate installed backwards.

Title: COMPANY HARASSMENT AND INTERFERENCE DURING PREFLT RPTED.
Narrative: DURING PREFLT PREPARATION PROCS, AFTER SHORT NOTICE ACFT CHANGE WHICH INVOLVED DEPLANING ALL PAX AT DEP TIME WHILE PERFORMING ACFT INSPECTION AND ACCEPTANCE PROCS FOR SECOND ACFT ASSIGNMENT AND DURING HASTY PAX REBOARDING, EXPERIENCED A VISIT IN THE COCKPIT FROM THE BASE CHIEF PLT WHICH TENDED TO INTERFERE WITH PERFORMANCE OF FLC DUTIES AS WE WERE SUBJECTED TO QUESTIONING PERTAINING TO THE PREVIOUS ACFT AND ITS MAINT DISCREPANCY WHICH RESULTED IN THE ACFT CHANGE. REGRETFULLY, MY COMPANY ENCOURAGES LIMITS ON FLC PREFLT INSPECTIONS SUCH AS: NEVER CHKING ENG AND GEAR BOX CHIP DETECTOR INDICATIONS (READILY ACCESSIBLE ON GND), UNDER EMPHASIZING INSPECTION OF PWR LEVER FLT IDLE STOP SOLENOID CIRCUIT BREAKERS BY ALLOWING THE INSPECTION WINDOW TO BECOME UNUSABLE DUE TO SCARRING AND PAINT OVERSPRAY, DISCOURAGING THE SQUAWKING OF OIL-FOULED APU BLEED AIR EVEN THOUGH IT'S SO BAD THE LAVATORY SMOKE DETECTOR ALARMS, AND EVEN AUTHORIZING A FLT TO TAKE OFF WITH A COCKPIT DOOR AIR CONDITIONING BLOWOUT SHEAR PLATE INSTALLED BACKWARDS.
