Narrative:
Incorrect MEL placed on aircraft. Aircraft displayed 'leading edge flap transit' light and departed, twice. Flight xyz and flight XXX on jul/mon/00 and jul/tue/00, respectively. Maintenance control insisted that this is the correct MEL. I questioned them twice but was told it was correct. In retrospect, I believe that they, and I made an error by operating the aircraft in this condition.
