Narrative:
Erie approach requested 020 degree heading, descend to 3000 ft. I overlooked a pointout to cle approach, mistakenly thinking they had done it. Supplemental information from acn 479016: radar controller descended C550 through cleveland approach but did not miss their 8000 ft traffic. I was on radar associate position and was updating and sorting flight progress strips.
