Narrative:
Flameout. Descending from FL310 to FL280, left engine flamed out. Normal restart was accomplished and engine was normal. Contacted maintenance and dispatch and they requested diversion to dfw. Engine operated normally during all phases of flight. Normal approach and landing at dfw. Changed aircraft and departed for lax.

Narrative: FLAMEOUT. DSNDING FROM FL310 TO FL280, L ENG FLAMED OUT. NORMAL RESTART WAS ACCOMPLISHED AND ENG WAS NORMAL. CONTACTED MAINT AND DISPATCH AND THEY REQUESTED DIVERSION TO DFW. ENG OPERATED NORMALLY DURING ALL PHASES OF FLT. NORMAL APCH AND LNDG AT DFW. CHANGED ACFT AND DEPARTED FOR LAX.
