Narrative:
Incorrect tower frequency. Advised to report midfield left downwind runway 27. We reported midfield left downwind runway 27. Another aircraft called 'mccollum tower.' we idented that it was a different airport. We climbed out of class D airspace and exited to the east. Radio trouble contributed to selecting incorrect frequency. I trusted my student to select the correct frequency.

Title: STUDENT PLT, WITH INSTRUCTOR, ENTERED THE TFC PATTERN TO LAND AT THE WRONG ARPT DUE THE STUDENT TUNING THE RADIO TO THE WRONG ARPT TWR.
Narrative: INCORRECT TWR FREQ. ADVISED TO RPT MIDFIELD L DOWNWIND RWY 27. WE RPTED MIDFIELD L DOWNWIND RWY 27. ANOTHER ACFT CALLED 'MCCOLLUM TWR.' WE IDENTED THAT IT WAS A DIFFERENT ARPT. WE CLBED OUT OF CLASS D AIRSPACE AND EXITED TO THE E. RADIO TROUBLE CONTRIBUTED TO SELECTING INCORRECT FREQ. I TRUSTED MY STUDENT TO SELECT THE CORRECT FREQ.
