Narrative:

A passenger was unconscious and not breathing. We used the automatic external defibrillator. The automatic external defibrillator kept saying 'analyzing diagnostics' over and over. Then it said 'begin cpr and mmr.' also, it said 'check pulse and stand back,' but it did not say 'give shock.' so we had just began mmr and cpr for 45 mins, until we diverted to shannon, ireland. Also, the automatic external defibrillator is very hard to hear with the jet engines -- 'very' hard to hear. I don't remember in training when someone is dead the automatic external defibrillator keeps saying 'analyzing diagnostics.' the training needs to make this clear.

Narrative: A PAX WAS UNCONSCIOUS AND NOT BREATHING. WE USED THE AUTOMATIC EXTERNAL DEFIBRILLATOR. THE AUTOMATIC EXTERNAL DEFIBRILLATOR KEPT SAYING 'ANALYZING DIAGNOSTICS' OVER AND OVER. I DON'T REMEMBER IN TRAINING WHEN SOMEONE IS DEAD THE AUTOMATIC EXTERNAL DEFIBRILLATOR KEEPS SAYING 'ANALYZING DIAGNOSTICS.' THE TRAINING NEEDS TO MAKE THIS CLR.
